Well the Poppy Red Frigidaire FRAN ended up springing a leak and wouldn't go into the final spin dry. The motor would just groan but no spinning of the tub. I had to let her sit for a few hours, for the rollers to dry, so she would spin the tub.
So she was sold to a fellow washing machine enthusiast that is close by. And now FRAN has had another cabinet transplant, and a 3rd chance at life. So I have some 1-18 parts for sale: A 2-speed motor (1973) A jet cone agitator (minor cone edge bumps) 1973 The CUSTOM control panel from the Almond Frigidaire 1-18 The Almond Frigidaire windowed-lid I'll have to see if I have any other parts. I wanted to let fellow Frigidaire 1-18 enthusiasts/collectors know these parts are available to hopefully keep other Frigidaire 1-18 washers bouncing away ☺ |

Hi Christina, sorry to hear about FRAN. Do you have a pic of the control panel? Also, would you have a fabric softener dispenser? |

Control panel pics.
Also I don't have a 1-18 fabric softener dispenser. But I do have what I believe is the fabric softener dispenser for the smaller/narrower jetcone agitator, if someone is interested in that, brand new in the box? I could never get it to fit onto my 1-18 agitator. |

sorry to hear about it, they are such fun, but at least it was enjoyed for awhile!
We have a Harvest Crown W-2 '75 1-18 that sprung a leak as soon as we tried to see if it worked when we got it, so it sits neglected for now. PhilR and I made a 6 hour expedition to far Eastern Quebec to get a NOS tub seal from a closed FD dealer, so we do have the part now for when we can get to the repair, as well as a perfect tub to replace ours that has a chip and consequent rust in the tub bottom. Hoping to get it back doing it's turnover thing one of these days! |

Roger, I do believe I have a 1-18 tub that will fit... One of the 'junk' machines rescued from Appliances Unlimited back in 2014 got parted out and I swear I kept the tub. It's in the shed in Ogden and after today's storm I may not be able to get to it until July but please remind me about this, especially when I roll by to pick up that GE 'Holy Grail' dishwasher that you've been ever so patiently storing for me. |

Thank you.
Unfortunately, the Frigidaire ride has ended for me. When me & Roger brought FRAN home, she would only spin. She did agitate but would "clunk" down and freeze/get stuck. After removing the front panel Roger notice alot of metal dust in that center bowl. She cannibalize herself and chewed up some mechanism? We did a Poppy cabinet transplant onto the Almond's base, tub, motor, and mechanism. So I was using the Almond 1-18 with the Poppy cabinet on it. No more Frigidaire 1-18 washing is happening on this side. But it was cool & different while it lasted 😊 |

Here is the list of parts that have been spoken for so far;
1. The windowed-lid 2. The control panel 3. The jetcone agitator 4. The feet. So if there are any other parts not mentioned that someone is needing, please feel free to reach out & ask. I just might have it. Now for the parts that have been spoken for, I ask you members/friends to please be patient with me getting them packaged up & shipped out to you. But I will get them out as soon as I can. I will message you when I've gotten them packaged up & ready to ship out. Thank you for your patience (without me having to go into detail). Lovingly, Me |

I don't know what exactly the original FRAN'S insides, were eaten up/grinded into the metal dust she had in the center bowl, or if that is where the transmission is located?
But if the transmission & bearings are good, when Roger comes, we'll check it out and I'll let you know. As for right now, I am down for the count due to medical reasons. So please be patient with me. Thank you for understanding. ✌&❤ |

I'll have to ask Roger when he comes over because I don't know what that is? if it's not mentioned in the list above, and in good condition, I'll put it to the side for you. I'll let you know.
Sorry for the hold up, I'm still healing up. Will get in touch with everybody soon. Take care & stay healthy & safe. |

Hi everyone. I feel like I'm healed up enough to start shipping the parts spoken for.
So please send me an email and remind me what parts you were interested in, along with your shipping address, and I can get the parts packed up & ready to ship. Once I take them to the post office I will know what the exact shipping price is and will let you know the total.. Thank you and again, sorry for the delay. |

All the agitator caps that I had, are gone now.
As for the bleach dispenser, I never had one of those for neither of the Frigidaire 1-18 washers that I had. Sorry... As for the fabric softener dispenser, I bought a brand new one off of ebay when I got the first Frigidaire 1-18 (Almond). But I could never get it to fit onto the agitator. So I believe it's for the mid-late 60's Frigidaire solid tub washer agitator. Sorry I don't have the parts you're needing. I hope you find the parts you need. Keeping my fingers crossed for you... 💛 |

I have a complete '78 or '78 1-18 parts machine that I got for spares for my '74 Gold Crown W2, everything except for it's former avocado cabinet and base plate.
Pictured stripped and with PhilR when we got it. Wish I were closer, I'd buy the entire Poppy cabinet from Fran and make a complete "new" Poppy machine! |

I’m jealous you ha e a full spare machine. I’m looking for one here in Orlando. Mine has sprung a leak. I need to tear into it and see if it’s the bellows or worse. Otherwise it’s in pristine shape. Also. Red a new dryer drum.
Chris. I have lots of great friends in Binghamton. I’m from Moravia area. Chris. |

if I don't follow through with my Harvest Gold machine - I'm getting old and energy is getting harder to come by - I'll be sure to let you know. I may even decide to let the '74-ish Harvest Gold machine go WITH all the spare parts as well, at some point, because at 70 increasingly I'm running out of gas, and I still have a car and summer house to finish yet. Last pic is bad seal. I have a new seal and a perfect tub to replace the original tub (shown) with a small rust spot too.

Chris... please eMail when you think you may be around. We're in VT a lot in the summer so a heads up well in advance is good. We're in major de-cluttering mode in prep to a potential consolidation and move up there, so both the complete 1-18 and parts machine, also a mint KDC17 with 2 complete panel sets (in Harvest Gold and Coppertone) may well be available... cheap!
You picked 2 of the best in town, Jim McCoy just closed Number 5 but his other place (also excellent) Lampy's, is now McCoy's Chop House, v similar to #5 foodwise. Cortese, another local favorite, is still going strong, we were last there a couple yrs ago. It's hard to find bad Italian around here. The most famous one is Oaks Inn, the fav of the local mafia from the notorious 1958 bust that happened about 5 mi from there...the place still looks like 1958 too: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apalachin_... |
