Regarding why a pulley would need to "settle in," that would be something to ask the engineers at Speed Queen. However, if their responses to complaints about Speed Queen's TR series of machines is any indication, they are a testy bunch who don't take kindly to questioning.
I think you'll be happy with your machine. It's the only type on the market that behaves like an old school washer with long stroke agitation. Give it a while and if the noise persists, don't hesitate to take advantage of your warranty. |
