Stumbled Across this LG WM0642HW Yesterday and brought it home. I took it apart today and the spider arm is NASTY! It isn't broken but it is nasty. The Door lock was bad (3rd photo) I replaced it and it works now. I am going to change the drum to the original style domed one from my WM2277HW and use this one instead. It has more options and a recirculating pump, It also has the long coasting slowdown instead of powering in reverse and slowing down quickly. For it having all of this I am deciding to keep it. It has an annoying nE error code when I attempt to use the QC/Diagnostic mode. Do some of these have this normally or do I need to get another Motor Control Board?
