For those that have a Speed Queen TC5, I noticed that the cycle matrix provided by SQ and referenced elsewhere appeared to have a number of errors. Using info from the owner's manual, YouTube videos, and personal observations, I re-did it for my own use and thought I would share it here. The image attached isn't very clear, but the link will take you to the full version.

Wash gallons ?

For the water use (gallons) in the two right side wash columns; is that for the complete wash cycle (i.e. the wash and a rinse) or is that just for the wash and each rinse would use a similar amount ?

The figure is for wash and each rinse would be similar as you stated. Note that each of the two column titles has in parenthesis "per fill"

The lowest water usage possible on the TC5 via the Normal Eco cycle with no options (which does spin-spray rinses instead of a filled/agitated rinse) is 13 gals + the rinse sprays.  Adding an Extra Rinse to it includes the spin-sprays and a filled/agitated rinse which ups it another 13 gals to 26+ gals total.

Does Heavy Soil option also add the agitated rinse to Normal Eco, and give two agitated rinses on the other cycles?  The setting isn't labeled as such and the user guide doesn't clarify that point.

Maximum is 57 gals (+ sprays if any) for all of the other cycles with Deep Fill and Extra Rinse selected.

Appears that a full cycle of wash/soak with agitated rinse can be had by selecting Spin and the Extra Rinse Pre-Soak option.  An agitated rinse and spin via Spin and Extra Rinse.

What are the actual wash and prewash times in minutes?

I apologize if this is in the Speed Queen chart, and I have just missed it. I am used to looking at the one for the actual Maytag Commercial (sold and used for commercial use), which is a little more detailed. Note this chart is pretty close to what the residential model, Maytag mvwp575gw, also has. However, the agitation time for the Powerwash cycle is 12 minutes and not 17 as reported on the chart. Also, Normal "Eco" agitation time is about 7 minutes instead of 9 as reported by this chart.

Wash Cycle Questions:

After the washer fills, what is the actual time the TC5 "washes" the clothes. It looks like choosing Heavy Duty will add more time to that. If so, do you know how many additional minutes?

In the attached chart, Maytag refers to this as the "agitation".

Prewash Questions:

Prewash is almost 30 minutes. What is the actual time clothes in the TC5 are soaking? And does the prewash water drain and refill for the wash cycle?

The actual amount of time Maytag soaks the clothes during the prewash cycle is 10 minutes. It does not drain the water. I like this! You can do a longer manual presoak by selecting pause. Do not open the lid. If the lid lock is activated, the water will drain out after 10 minutes.

Thanks,
