I need to buy one, but without the name it's a problem. Thanks.

Is that installed on the face of the door or on the back of the door?

It looks like a latch that would be installed on an "inactive" leaf of a pair of cabinet doors.

I found this type doing a google search for "metal cabinet safety latch". At work the cabinets in our break room have them on some of the doors.

A "blind latch" or "invisible latch" or "blind hasp" or "hidden hasp"

Apparently also known as an "elbow catch"  or "elbow latch".

Thanks for the input

Thanks to everybody for their opinion. "Elbow Latch" seemed to have the best response on an Internet (NOT Google) Search.

I've got one of those on an equipment cabinet in the workshop here.

It is indeed installed on the left hand door, while the right hand door has a lock. Which lock I rarely if ever use. It beats the hook and eye setup of the left hand doors on other cabinets in the workshop.

Maybe I should order some elbow latches to replace the annoying hook and eye setups.
