I noticed that this machine has the 30 second spin spray rinse whereas earlier and later models had a one minute spray rinse. My timed-fill Highlander also has a 30 second spin spray rinse.  I have also seen a couple of the 102P models with the 18 minute delicate cycle.

I've noticed other Maytag POD of this eera with the delicate cycle on the dial, but I don't think I've ever seen the full breakdown of that 18 minute cycle.

My sister had an early center dial with a delicate setting. The directions said to set there and push the gentile speed button. My aunt had one of the exact models of the POD that lasted forever and never broke down and sounded just like my 1984 511 does.

The Supermatic with the 12 minute delicate cycle, sorry, not 18, on the dial was a one speed, two cycle machine. The delicate wash was 2 minutes. The spin was 1/2 a minute then a 1/2 minute for the flush rinse. It filled for the rinse then rinsed for one minute and spun for one minute. I don't know how it pumped all of the water out in one minute except that I think that they were counting on delicate loads being small loads and using the low water level.

I found this in the service manual for: AMP, A2MP, A3MP, A4MP, 121P, 101P, 101P, 102, 140-140-S and 130.
