Great machine! And thank you for sharing the videos.

An uncle and aunt had exactly the same machine. It was very expensive, even more so than a Miele IIRC.

My mother didn't like the keyplate system, so she chose the model with the three dials. I remember the 760rpm speed too as it was mentioned on the plate inside the machine. Apparently they later brought it down to 720rpm.

Here are a few pages from a Bosch brochure from 1969. Yours is probably from around 1965.

Hello Martin, great to see you back and posting about the Bosch WV5 keyplate action washer, it certainly looks stury and a mass of wiring which looks like the top of the Hoover Keymatic .

Is the smaller motor for wash and the larger one for spin ?

Question: Is the timer made by Holzer as the Hoover is ? it looks very familiar, great to see it working again, those clicks n whirrs sound familiar !!

Cheers, Mike

Thnx guys! :* It was quite a work but it's not that hard if it feeds your soul. :)

Yes it's a Holzer timer.

The smaller motor is for washing and the bigger one for spinning.

My goodness, there's more wires in that thing than you could shake a stick at!
