This week I purchased a 2-pack of sponges while in Publix. I've always bought 'ocelo' sponges (3M) but the packaging has changed and it took me several minutes to be certain that I was buying what I wanted. But one of the benefits of this package was a new color! Check out the beautiful turquoise green color of this one. Almost to pretty to use!

Thanks for the compliment, but you've probably gotten an incorrect impression of the floor. It's actually a black-and-white sheet vinyl and the pattern is 9" squares. I think it's a Shaw product. As close as I could come to a 9x9 asphalt tile "look".
Here are some better views of the kitchen floor. The rest of the house is the original 9x9 Bruce laminated oak squares.

Thanks! I'm very fond of the pieces designed by Charles and Ray Eames. I've had the lounge and ottoman since the spring of 1985; I bought them with my income tax refund as a gift to myself. I also have the four DCM's in walnut at the table, a DCM in red, a (sad) DCW that I rescued from an antique shop in 1986, and a LCW in rosewood. When I downsized and moved to Mobile (almost 7 years ago) my Eames pieces were a "must save".
