People on this site have mentioned that Kitchenaid washers are good machines. What about this set that has push buttons instead of knobs? Is this one of the models that have the slower agitation and a better agitator? Thank you.

Yes it’s a good machine. Sometimes with heavy use the plastic covers over the push buttons were known to crack.

It has all the features.

These pics are saved from a different ad in June 2020.

The buttons are low-movement physical buttons.  The membrane surface usually wears or cracks over time which doesn't affect functioning but can obscure the labeling.  The washer of your pic looks good, the dryer buttons have some wear.  The washer console also appears to be dented on the back causing the top of it to protrude slightly upwards.

Superba is KitchenAid's label for top-of-the-line models.

Whirlpool called the flat buttons "Clean Touch."  KA uses the term "Easy Clean Selectra."

Hand Care on the washer is intermittent agitation at extra-low speed.  Extra Care on the dryer is a period of (probably intermittent) cool-air tumble after the load is dry to help avoid wrinkling if the items aren't unloaded immediately.  Interesting that the washer has a rotary knob for volume level of the end-of-cycle signal but the dryer provides only On/Off buttons.

Dryer extra care is nothing more than Wrinkle Guard/Finish Guard on respective Kenmore/Whirlpool dryers. tumbles every 5 minutes for 10-15 seconds.

Thank you Repairguy and DADoES,

It looks like the push buttons are no longer available for replacement (although I only checked partselect.com).
Thank you for pointing out the dent in the washer console. Not sure if that would be easy to fix. I am unable to see the wear on the dryer buttons even after enlarging the photo on my phone. You have great observation skills.

I guess I will pass on these and keep my eye out for another set that has the regular knobs. Thank you again.
