The cycling thermostat could be bad or the high limit thermostat is getting weak. Does it take multiple cycles on permanent press or does it take a few cycle to dry on the other cycles?

The Permanent Press cycle dries at a higher temperature than the regular cycle. So I would guess the high temp limit t-stat is weakening.

Do you know if you can still get the hi limit stat and where is it located? Do you happen to know the temperature s for the reg cycle and perm cycle? Thank you for any information and help you can provide

If it works on regular just use regular, the only difference is regular has a 3 minute cool Down and PP has like 7 minutes.

There is only one operating thermostat on this dryer, both cycles have the same temperature, if it really does not work on PP you have a bad heat contact in the timer and you need another timer.
