how old the installer was? Just curious......
The installation manual I bet doesn't mention it is optional. |

Monday is the soonest they can reply. Meanwhile there's a Bosch 500 Series SilencePlus 44dBA washing that isn't very silent. ;P |

Got to be one of the stupidest appliance installers EVER. |

If an installer went to this amount of trouble, probably understood the value of he insulation, then intended to use it on another appliance. CLICK HERE TO GO TO trappn's LINK |

Nothing against Lowes, necessarily; but, believe most of us would have directed you back to Lowes, rather than the installer. |

If you paid by credit card I would call them to cancel the charge with the reason given. That will get someone's attention and you bet Home Depot will be able to get a hold of the installer. I wouldn't settle for anything less than a new machine.
I don't know about the rest of you but when I buy anything major like that whether or not I have the cash in hand I always use a major credit card or if you have the option use PayPal. I have had issues in the past and let them deal with it. |
