Have yall seen the new KA?

www.kitchenaid.com/major-...

Did any vintage factory d/w other than the old top-load window-in-lid Youngstowns have this feature? The light is the icing on the cake! My friend Scott's family had the Youngtown circa 1955 and it was fascinating to watch.

The Apex Dishwasher and James Dishwasher had a window lid as well. The problem with this new KitchenAid dishwasher is the window is smoked glass so it's next to impossible to see what is going on since you cannot turn the light on when the cycle is running.

And what brand was that DW in one of the very first episodes of “Bewitched?” I always thought manufacturers ditched the windows because seeing food particles splattered around isn’t all that appealing..?

Todd, if I remember correctly, that was in the pilot epsode or first one, it had a little window, and a circular top rack. Thus a Kenmore or Gaffers & Sattler--a D&M product.
