Interesting that 'tag has a Gentle cycle on the timer with a separate speed selector.  All the cycles can be run at any of the three speed combos?

Glenn, the top 2 to 3 models had panel-based speed selectors and not the timer. As far as I'm concerned, the only way a Maytag should be. The majority we see on Shoppers Square are the lower part of the line.

I would say that any cycle could be run on any speed. The only reason for the separate cycle that I can see would be a shorter final spin on gentle.

LAT3600. The last of the helical drive Newton made machines. The final one is on display at the Jasper County museum with the signatures of all the employees who worked on the line in 2006. I can’t imagine how sad that day was for all involved.

If it has a grey tub it would be one of the last from 2005-2006.
