This is one of my favorite KitchenAid DW models, and wow-- it's not only a Superba, but it's stainless!

I'm sure someone here will want to snag it.  That's not a bad price for the condition this machine is in.

As an owner of a KDS15, I would grab this in a heartbeat if it were near me.

How about this lucky dude

Saw this on another site - NIB! I looked up the listing and they were only asking $125!

Beautiful machine

in SteveD's post. I was totally unaware until now that Hobart had a dishwasher factory in Louisville, KY.

It is so amazing what is still out there to be found.  Paul (turquoisedude), did you need your smelling salts for this one?

the find of a lifetime, and also my favorite KA model and vintage. Weren't these the last of the "cast iron wonders? The 15 series introduced the "4-Way Hydrosweep, my folks had a stainless KDS-15.

KDS-14 KA DWs With Cast Iron Wash Arms

combo52's profile picture

Were  good DWs in the 1950s but were behind the times in the early 1960s,

The KD15 series was a serious improvement in overall capacity and performance.

I love the styling of the KDS-14s but they would be very hard to keep running as a daily driver today even if you started with a NIB model.

The one thing I love about this site is the wisdom. I also like the styling of the KDS-14s but don't have the expertise to make an informed decision. One of the reasons I read these threads is to inform myself of the next project/acquisition. This has been very helpful.
Thanks again!
