Who Remembers "Tiger-Tiger" Orange/Licorice Ice Cream? |

I came across a photo of an extinct Ice Cream: "Tiger-Tiger" - An orange matrix streaked with black licorice by Sani-Dairy.
I know nothing about this stuff, other than the graphics have a "Tony the Tiger-ish" vibe from the early 60's. Does anybody remember it? Was it regional? Did you like it? As a kid I hated licorice, but now it has an appeal to me. -Let me know what y'all thought. Bill

Those graphics look a little "packaged" for a small little local dairy...I'd bet that the Licorice Ribbon company sold a package deal for noncompetitive dairies. However, have never seen it. Believe "Moose Tracks" started out life the same way.

I don't remember an item like this in the grocery stores, but seems like I saw it at Old Town, which was an ice cream parlor we went to back in the late 60's - early 70's. I always got chocolate chip, coffee, or butter pecan, if I didn't get a hot fudge sundae. | ||
