It is not a Robertshaw Range, but it does have a RS thermostat.

OT

There was Robert Shaw the conductor and the Robert Shaw Chorale. Their Christmas album was one of the most thrilling listening experiences of my young life. I think they used the Robert Russell Bennett arrangements of the carols and songs and they were modulated into one another another with beautiful skillful transitions.

It would be interesting to find out the brand of this anonymous range. I like the smoke stack style oven vent.

Yeah, it looks like the badge/brightwork is missing.  Considering its spartan design, I doubt the seller will get what they're asking.

I haven't seen one like this before. Ends up with a pretty small, tight spacing of burners, But pretty cool

I first saw this burner arrangement on a stove in an apt in NYC. I wondered then if maybe it was a safety feature to keep burners further away from walls in kitchens where the range was against a wall.

Close Gas Burner Spacing

Yes this was done so the range could be placed next to a wall on either side, with current ranges the installation instructions usually specify the range should be at least 6" away from the wall on either side.
