Automatic Electric Washer Company
"The Automatic Electric Washer Company was located in Newton, Iowa, and in 1907 introduced one of the first, if not the first, mass produced electric powered washing machines. By 1910 it was selling more than 40,000 machines a year with a corporate slogan “Everybody Works but Mother.” Its advertising campaign declared “Ten O’clock and the Washing Done.” Mother could be proud and could look forward to the chores facing her the rest of the day."

I don't think the green one is "pre Maytag" or from the same factory. Maytag had thier name on washing machines earlier than it. |
