Hi all!

I have a vintage kitchen aid imperial dishwasher. It has worked amazing for us for so long until recently. We went to run a cycle and when we opened up the dishwasher, we noticed all the dishwashing soap was just kind of sitting there. The cups had opened. I could feel the heat but the dishes weren’t really wet and definitely not clean. I’m hoping I can find a way to fix this issue rather than getting a new dishwasher. We are really tired of hand washing dishes at this point. Has anyone had this problem before? Or know how to fix it? Thank you so much!

Drain Valve May be stuck open with a foreign in object allowing the water just drain as it fills.

There are several other things that could cause it not to work but it should be easy to fix, find a repair guy with gray hair.
