Great news my Westinghouse dryer has just arrived although it does need new belts, the one that runs from the motor to the speed reduction pulley is on its very last legs and the one from the speed reduction pulley to the drum pulley was non-existent, I did find a belt but I think it’s a little too tight so I’ll see if I can get one that’s a little bit bigger, I think that my particular machine is possibly a MOL model As it doesn’t feature a pull start, the pop-up lint filter, and the “how dry I am” chime although it’s extremely similar in design to the winning dryer in the “oldest dryer contest”
Specifically it looks like the exact same construction internally As the dryer featured in the video, I’ll grab some pictures of it when I’m fully awake

Wow Adam, it looks to be in great condition, hopefully there will not be much wrong with it.

Since it is an Australian version I am sure the features vary a little from the American versions, yours is probably TOL for all we know.

Thanks for sharing! I really enjoyed the video... particularly the tour of the insides of the machine. The chimes are really a nice feature. I look forward to hearing/seeing more from you!

Yeah unfortunately it doesn’t have the chime

The pull start, and the pop up lint filter, but it’s nearly identical internally. I’ll make a video about it when I get home from work, I know the only thing that was wrong with it was the original belts were gone but I got some new ones
