Hi Dave, There is no warranty on commercial washers to void, you only have a parts warranty so you can modify the machine any way you like, yes if you break a part they may not give you a new part for the one you broke but he rest of the machines parts are covered.
Commercial SQs [ like most other commercial W&Ds ] do not include any labor or House calls with the parts warranty.
If you have a problem you call the commercial dealer you bought the machine from and they will either exchange defective parts you take to them or they will charge normal service rates to come to to fix anything that failed as a result of a manufacturing defect, they will not care if you modified the appliance unless you caused the problem.
