Is this machine any good, or should I stick with my old Kitchenaid Hobart machines. Pretty neat finding a never used machine like this.

The 1200 is a fantastic machine, you’ll probably never find another NOS one. There will be some disagreement over which is better, but the 1200 is a full featured machine, has great build quality, and is a cleaning powerhouse. Get it!!

I agree that if it has truly never been used it is a rarity.

Located in Millville NJ

It’s a great price at only $75 on FB marketplace. Not sure I can justify a 5 hour drive one way to go get it. But I figure I should give others here the chance at it.

That dishwasher I had from new for 19 years. I still miss it. Nothing else cleaned like it.

Get it!

Run, don't walk, to your phone right now and tell the buyer you want it.

You will likely never find another NOS, trust me.

I had a condo built back in '84 and had the builder put in this dishwasher. I loved it.

GE made the two versions of the 1200, one with two final rinses and one with three. Even if this is the two rinse version it still is an awesome machine.

Grab it. A five hour drive is nothing for a NOS vintage dishwasher.

I believe the 1200 was the top rated dishwasher over the Kitchen Aid in the 80s. I'd get it.

Michael is correct. It's why I wouldn't even consider a KitchenAid. If it hadn't been GE, I would have gotten a PowecClean based product.

I plan to get it. We are about to have a baby any day now so it just has to wait until our new little bundle of joy arrives before I can make the trip out there. Hopefully by the middle of the month...

Two Questions, Shannon.

Most importantly, did your baby arrive??

Secondly, did you get the GE 1200??

My little buddy has been born but I haven’t been able to escape yet. Hopefully soon within the next week or so. I’m excited about it! I’ll share a photo of the little guy for everyone in the meantime 😬

Not a problem Keith. NOS stands for New Old Stock.
