Searching for older working washing machine and gas dryer (does not need to be matching set or sold together) front load or top load that is well made and close to Arkansas. Preferably in white or avacado. We live off grid near Hot Springs and need a good analog machine that we can setup in our shop. We live in a ‘73 Airstream and prefer the styles and quality of prior generations. Thank you!

whirlpools all over the place, craigs list, ebay, marketplace etc. i like the older whirlpools myself, they seem to run forever and parts are cheap and plentiful.

i also have a front load frigidaire gallery washer i bought in 1998 that i have done 2 rebuilds on, new bearings and tub seal, and it is my main machine and it works great! i love these smaller front loaders. i see them listed quite a bit too. in fact i have an extra one just in case.

facebook marketplace is my newest shopping mall! i'm sure you'll find something close to you on that site.

and i would not pay a fortune either, last dryer i got i paid 50 bucks for on craigslist 3 years ago, a maytag. last top loader was a whirlpool for 50 bucks also, just needed a motor coupler, 5 dollar part, gave it to a friend to use, and in general i never pay more than 100 bucks for any appliance i buy. i definately would not pay 2 or 300 for something that you know nothing about but that's just my take on it and i am cheap!

good luck with it!
