This was a very good washer when built and easy to work on.
It could still be in good shape or be pretty tired, try to find out how many loads a week it was run and why they are getting rid of it and what its current operating condition is. 1 or 2 loads a week is very light use, more than 10 loads is pretty heavy use.
It could be worth anywhere from $20-250 depending to the answers to the questions above.

My guess would be late '86 all the way to 1991 or even later. That's only a qualified guess. For a definite guess, I would need a picture of the wash tub to see whether it is equipped with the Super Surgilator extra rollover - WP's version of the Sears Roebuck Dual Action agi. It did not appear until after the first year of DD rollout to super capacity machines circa 1987 (i.e. post-Design 2000).
