Wow, those are a weird hybrid, I've only ever seen that shape control panel with the old black panel and markings. These colours I've always associated with the newer style with the plastic cap on top.

Were these available with the black control paneled machines, but as an option, or were these a transitional model between the old and the new style?

I agree - definitely weird.  Are these very late Raytheons?  Or the first Alliance ones?

I have an AWM393W2 that is the same design except my control panel is black. Mine was still built by Raytheon and is a ‘94 model. The machine listed has more cycles than mine but I would say it’s was built close to the same year as mine.

I was thinking mid-90's as well.  Customer of mine had a washer like this, but TOL.
