Anyone able to confirm the size for a 2005 Frigidaire FGX831CS1 stacked washer dryer? Want to make sure a GE GUD27GSSMWW 3.8 will fit. Replacing a stacked washer dryer that's built-in and hard to measure. Will be pulling it out in the next few days, but want to get a head start on ordering the replacement.

Washer kept adding water with lid up. Appears the water level pressure or float switch and lid sensor failed. Tenant left washer unattended with lid up and it overflowed into unit below. I'd try fixing it if it were my house but this is a rental unit above another unit so we'll just replace it.

Flooding TL Stack FD Washer-Dryer

Most common reason this happens is the air-dome hose pulls off the little nipple, easy fix, just reattach small tube and tape hose to side of outer tub with some really sticky foil duct tape.

You can do this repair without moving the machine by just taking the washer front off and reaching back on the left side of the outer tub.

If you decide t replace the machine the GE TL stack you listed should fit.
