don't feel bad. I keep up with it and it's still confusing. Anyway, I've watched LOTS of videos of what's out there on youtube, and I've narrowed down that an LG front loader with Turbo wash is the best. I trust this guy here. he's on this forum. He actually works on washers and does tons of videos and gives his opinions...In fact, I never would have considered LG until I started watching his videos. I'm not sure how good LG dryers are...If matching isn't a concern, I hear Whirlpool standard dryers (with lint screen on top) are the best designed and easiest to service dryers
I don't think he likes ANY of the HE top load washers. He likes the Maytag commercial Top Load washer though. You obviously can't go wrong with Speed Queen as they are built like tanks.....but their wash action (at least for TL washers), isn't quite as good as the Maytag commercial TL washer. For an old-school clean like when you were a kid, get the Speed Queen TC5 as Pierre suggested. If you want a modern washer that cleans and rinses excellently, get an LG front loader with Turbowash. It will clean a full load in about 30 minutes.

I double checked at inspection last night......we will need an electric dryer in the new house. Available footprint for two appliances is approximately 4'10" wide by 3' deep. | ||
