.
This is the stacked SQ FL machine i posted about in Shoppers Square.
I bought it but never got around to assembling and testing it.
I did see it run before i bought it however.
I sold it yesterday and the new owner is experiencing some noise issues.
Something is not right, has anybody heard these noises from an SQ FL washer, and if so what causes it?
My guess is some foreign object is in between the drum and the wash basket.

Here is the noise with basket turned by hand:

Here is the noise while running (at link below):

Sounds OK to me

Those noises are the balance system doing it's thing.

My mother had an SQ fl machine i used many dozens of times, never heard that loud clicking sound while in spin cycle.

I missed the spin noise sorry:

The sound when you hand turn the drum is normal. I can't tell for sure if the noise during spin is just the machine balancing itself or if something is out of whack.

It sounds like rattling though. That can't be right ? Maybe something got into the boot and between the baskets ?

Noise When A New Style SQ FL Washer Turns

Yes during the hand turn test the sound is normal.

The noise when it starts spinning is probably normal, but the recording is not long enough to tell for sure, the clicking sounds should go away completely after it speeds up more, also with the lower panel off it sounds a lot louder.

Sounds normal, mine does the exact same thing at hand-turned, slower speeds.  You can hear the balls in the balance ring moving, as they're intended to, until a higher speed is reached.

I can shoot a video of mine if that's helpful, just let me know.
