I thought you might get a kick out of my latest purchase. A compact ( and I mean really compact ) Bendix automatic washer ! Knee high automation. Huge motor for size of drum throws clothes back and forth like a laundromat. Ticking peg on drum advances timer. No suspension so an out of balance toggle cuts spin and tries again. Here is its happily washing whites at 70c 160f. Tide bottle and box for size comparison !!

I have the later model. Same principle but they added a soap and fabric softener drawer.
