Something very Bosch like, thats for sure. They'd definitely have their own distinct spray arms & other features. |

made all appliances. They are the most built to last and reliable when it comes to laundry.
then go over to the dishwasher category....is there anything in the same league in "built to last" for dishwashers as there is for laundry? I guess Miele, but that's really it.. and what about refrigerators? Is there even an option on the market for a trouble free built to last refrigerator? I don't think so. I can see the Speed Queen name on dishwashers, Ovens, Refrigerators, etc. That name would fit on them well. but I would venture to say that if Speed Queen made dishwashers, it would be well over $1000 and Refrigerators possibly over $3000 |

It would likely resemble a Hobart design as Hobart was the only DW ever sold that was based on a commercial DW.
No Heater ?, Sorry guys DOE requires heaters in DWs because all DWs must be capable of operating on 120F incoming water.
Lots of SQ FL washers have heaters sold the world over, SQ offered heaters for about 8 years and there was no demand in the US. We only ever sold 2 with heaters, one to Jon C. and one to a customer.
The only reason My brother Jeff and Grey N and Bob S and I have models with heaters is because Bob bought all these when SQ was closing them out, I know my brother and I and Bob almost never use the feature I don't know about Greg. I have probably only used the heater less than a dozen times in 15 years just to test it.
I can tell you from experience of my thousands of customers that have fancy FL machines with heaters almost none ever use them.
If you really want one it is not hard to add, My partner Jason added one to his 10 YO stack buy buying parts from SQ. He lives in an all electric home so it makes a little more sense. The rest of live in homes with economical gas water heaters so it makes little sense to burn up all that power heating the wash water to 155F with electricity.

When I first discovered Speed Queen a few years ago, the name reminded me of Filter Queen since they both have the word "Queen" on their brands and at first I was thinking they were owned by the same company but they aren't. Although I think that would've been cool if they were. Filter Queen is owned by Health-Mor and Speed Queen is owned by Alliance Laundry Systems. Personally, I'd rather have Speed Queen just focus on their laundry products. I mean that's all they do basically and I think that's what makes Speed Queen so special in my opinion.
