Wow - that's a beautiful example, and according to the seller it's working.

That fridge would already be gone if it were near me!  What year is it?  The full length door pull makes me think it's an early frost free model, but I don't see a Frost Guard designation on it.  Did non-Frost Guard models ever have swing-out shelves?

$130 is a very fair price. I would say perhaps a 1959 model. A shame it's the wrong color and just too far away.

I agree with Louis that it's likely a '59, but might be a '58. Except for the color, it's like the one our church kitchen had, and it was constructed in '59.

This is the first GE I've seen with the badge at top right indicating swing-out shelves.  Isn't that where the meatball logo usually goes on the early '60s models, or the Frost Guard designation?

This really seems like an unusual model to me, and I'm betting it's not a Frost Guard type.  No bling factor like those pictured below, which I am guessing fall into the 1959-61 range.  The white one may be the wide body model, but the brown one is not.  I just couldn't lift any interior shots or close-ups of the brown one off of the Worthpoint site.

Nice Fridge!  Not a Frost-Guard for sure - probably why it's still running!  One of these in turquoise is still one of my "unicorns"... sigh

Thanks Paul!  Now I really wish this fridge was local to me.  It wouldn't be the energy hog that a Frost Guard model would.
