Custom crafted by Hotpoint....

.....stove looks to be around 1967 as it looks very similar to the cooktop that was original to my 1967 house. Same color, too!

NO Bathroom Facilities At Sale...

...So diaper up and come for a day of shopping.

I wonder if she got all of that stuff by being the one who took everything home to wash after functions and people just forgot about them.

I clicked on that company's site and there are 88 sales going on around me. I like the descriptions like "packed" where serious collectors of crap lived. Those prim and proper places with lots of walking around room are no fun. I found one sale decades ago where it was in its third week and you still could not get to the basement because it was full up to the top of the stairs. The mad scientist husband had made an early 50s Bendix gas dryer a condensing dryer by venting it over the laundry sinks and rigging up a water spray at the vent discharge. The children would not enter the house, the estate sale lady told me.

Here is the owner - she looks like a barrel of fun.  I'd line up for those GE ice trays, one of the best ever.

Who made that fridge?

Wonder if it sold on first day of sale?

Berwyn? Probably correct.

 Laundress, it's a GE fridge.

re Berwyn;

The 70's featured Saturday late night t.v. horror movie host's. Detroit had the ghoul. In some m.c. scenes, only a chin was visible lit like a moon. Pittsburgh had Chilly Billy.

What a neat find, all that cool old stuff.. the 60's/70's lamps, the Admiral TV, the cabinet sewing machine, I wonder if The Queen Of Polka's estate was a pseudo time capsule home, or if Vlasta was just a long time hoarder of more than career memorabilia. That near mint fridge and the stove are beauties.

She was in Ferris Bueller's Day Off too, she plays her accordion on the parade float during Danke Schoen and Twist & Shout

 Svengoolie on MEtv is a fun Saturday night.  Vacerator, Indiana had it's own Horror Host too: Sammy Terry, and he made for fun Friday nights growing up in the 80's
