I found a SD11 ECO, Ver27 420094USP controller in my spare parts stash. Dated October 10 2013. I don't see a LID/OOB connector. I only see MOTOR,PUMP,DISPLAY,MOTOR RPS,LID,THERM,H/C VALVE and DIV/BLEACH connectors. Does this indicate a P7CPE board or is this another P6CPE board? I do have the drive from a GWL15 in the stash which is a Series 7 machine. I am unsure if this board came out of that GWL15 or not.

Refurbished boards (by Corecentric or F&P) may be in reused shell with embossed port labels that don't exactly match.  Sometimes may be an AquaSmart shell.

I have an SD11 Eco Ver. 27 10/09/13 P/N 420094USP from Corecentric that's in an AquaSmart shell with connection labels for Div/Bleach, Dispenser, H/C Valve, Motor, Pump, Display, Motor RPS, and Lid.  The board doesn't have any edge contacts at the shell port labeled Dispenser, it says "No Connection."

420094USP is a Ph6 P/N, so I'd expect that's what is your board.  If you take the board out of the shell and look at the edge contacts at the Lid socket, they're probably labeled LK-, LK+, L0V, and OOB.  Ph7 should be LK- and LK+ with the other two not labeled since there's no OOB switch on Ph7.

Australian IWL12 panel

Will a P6/S6 Controller from Australian IW812 work with a US GWL11? Or are there Electrical and physical differences between their power inputs/voltages?

AU and US markets have different power standards.

Label on the AU panel of sale = 230-240V 50HZ.

Label on my US panel = 110-120V 60HZ.

However, that mostly refers to the motor board.  Incoming power cord connects to the motor board, not to the display board.  The display board receives power from the motor board, which generates the various required power feeds to the individual machine components (some of which may be mains voltage).

An AU Intuitive Eco IW812 display board may or may not work with a US Ph6 motor board.  Depends on 1) whether the IW812 display connector matches to a US Ph6 motor board (probably does), 2) what kind of power the US Ph6 motor board feeds to the display vs. what the IW812 display board needs (I don't know), and 3) whether the board pairs have digital signatures and/or firmware that must match for proper functioning (possibly).

Your choice to take the risk of a mismatch that just doesn't work, or possible destruction.

Is my GWL11 PH7/S7 Capable?

maytagneptune's profile picture
My GWL11 is July 2005 so same age as me! I have photos of the existing board and display installed in the machine. I have the newer shaft type also. What do I do with the PH6 offbalance switch when I install a P7CPE/S7CPE Motor controller? Since PH7/S7 uses feedback from the Rotor Position sensor/Hall sensor Instead of the machine banging the switch?! I have a PH7/S7 Rotor and Stator pulled from an Aquasmart I found at the scrap yard. It was mostly destroyed so I removed the parts. I would have rather repaired it. The Intuitive is the F&P I was meaning to get but at the time I was happy with any F&P now I want the Intuitive now that I have the Dryer. I found a IWL16 Console and a P7CPE Board on Ebay for a reasonable price but I wish you DADoEsofTX had a spare IWL12/15 console I could buy from ya for $50+Shipping. The Colors won't match between IWL12 console and DEIX2 Console but I don't care. I could conv to IWL15 by changing the facia at any time.
