Seller claims washer does not spin. Otherwise unit looks in pretty decent condition.

It does look to be in great shape. It was built in January 1993. I acquired one of these last year the same age and model as this one.

If I can't sell it, I'll keep sitting on it.

90s MT TL Stack That Will Not spin

Either clothing caught between the tubs or more likely a bad main seal and a sized top tub bearing.

Interesting

I messaged the seller to see if they’d do a deal. I still need a stacked unit for my grandmother and I’ve replaced tub seals and bearings before so I’m not too concerned about repairs. Let’s see what happens.

This would definitely be a more dependable machine for her. I believe these had a spin relay mounted above the motor.

Best vintage TL Stack W&D

combo52's profile picture

Hi Shannon, If you are looking for a slightly vintage TLS the Whirlpool 27" Thin-Twin is the best by far, compared to the MT in this ad the WP 27" TT is much larger in capacity faster and easier to repair, more reliable and easier to install, if it is going to someone you love get the best.
