Looks to be mid to late 60s or 70s considering the metal lint filter. Also this looks like a programmed washer too, awesome! $75 in silverdale WA, don’t see these everyday

Agreed that this is a highly desirable set.  No way to see if the dryer is electric or gas, but regardless, someone is sure to snap these up quickly, particularly at that price.

I'm not aware of any programming option on the 806 series, unless the reference was in regard to the full range of options afforded by the selector buttons.

If I could arrange pickup and delivery to me I’d have already bought them but no road trips that far for me in the near future.

Looks like

its a Suds Saver! I bought the same machine for my mom for Mother's Day 1973. Cost me $339.00 plus tax.
Edit: it’s not. I mis-read.

Steve, I don't think it's a Suds Saver. The left bank just has agitate and spin speeds both slow and regular.

I believe appnut is correct since I only see the wash and spin speed operations, temperature selections and 4 water levels. If it was a suds saver there would be another 2 buttons in the temperature selection area I believe.

a Suds Saver would have banks of buttons....

6--speeds and suds

5--temps

4--load sizes

A different machine for a different era.

I'll never forget the first time I saw one of these in person at Macy's Herald Square Appliance department in "The Cellar". It was 1969 and Macy's was selling GE, Westinghouse, Norge, Maytag and Roper. Gimbel's, one block away was selling Maytag dishwashers plus the other brands, Hotpoint, Frigidaire, Whirlpool, and Crown. I wondered if the two stores had some sort of an agreement.

The Maytags at Macy's were corralled in a square formation at one end of the space; the 806's were on the cap (they never had 906's on the floor--big disappointment). That white 806 was like experiencing a Bentley; compared to most of the other appliances in the department (which was huge) the 'Tags were products of craftsmen...you could tell that the materials and the design were a clear cut above all the rest.
