Hey guys I need a bit of a hand with getting the pulley lined up on my Westinghouse dryer, Does anybody have any tips or guidance? Because I genuinely feel like this isn’t right

Can't tell from the angle of your picture, but maybe the idler pulley should be turned around so the small pulley is too the rear.

So the idler pulley was around the wrong way

The small pulley on the idler pulley should be facing the belt cover, that’s why I was having so many issues with it because I put the pulley around the wrong way
