Nice fridge!

I love the styling, too... and has all of those hard-to-find interior details and shelves. But I think it is about a 1958 Philco Super-marketer that the owners must have repainted (which looks like they did a good paint job that looks 'factory').

Could this one be frost free?  It's hard to tell, but I'm thinking it's not.  I agree that it appears to pre-date the avocado paint, but the shading makes it look like a professional job if not from the factory.

Even though it's rare, the price is steep.  Too bad it's missing a shelf and possibly a crisper drawer in the fresh food section.

I agree that this item has been repainted. The trim styling is strongly mid-late 50's, and the model plate makes no mention of Ford, that owned Philco by the time Avocado became available. It probably was sent to an auto body shop for refinishing.

Appears to be a 1957

According to a 57 brochure, the super marketer came in 16 & 12 cu ft models, in these 3 color combos.
