Just picked this machine up today from a local appliance store for $200, so I thought I would show it here. I have never had a belt drive machine before... so nice and quiet.

Nice acquisition, Charlie! I had the Goodman-made version of this washer and it was my favorite non-vintage machine. As you say, quiet, powerful, good rollover, never got out of balance and held a ton of clothes (and got them clean.)

Congrats! These were great machines and this one hails from 1995. Enjoy!

Finally got my parents to replace the crappy LG top load impeller that has been bad from day one with this one. Just did my first load and it's so nice to have clean sheets again!

I hate to admit it, but I think I might like it better than my direct drive Kenmore set.

agitation

Is the agitation like the speed queens?

I’m honestly not sure. I’ve never seen a Speed Queen even though I’ve always wanted one.

Yes this is a lot like an older speed queen. The agitation is the same.
