I wasn't able to find the original thread this machine was discussed in, so I thought I'd share this here:

My thoughts:
This load could have been washed in probably half that water in a good HE TL.

And given that, with a lower fill hot could have probably been 100F then compared to the 80ish this way.
Still not "hot" but closer to it.

They seem to have reduced agitation a bit which is an issue for such a small load.
I guess with the agitator in play on higher fills you need to tame it a bit but not on such low loads.

Not impressed...

lg vs samsung

If this is how the lg performs, I'd like to see how the samsung will fair.

wow

That is embarrassing. I will give it credit for the two deep rinses, but that is it. Not sure if the Heavy Duty cycle would have fared better.

I think for one the Samsung will do better. It actually uses the or has fins on the base similar to their wash plate. I think it will move the clothes much better.

Surprisingly, that Samsung looked like it was doing a decent job.

Both machines are filmed with only a small load, it would be way more interesting to see them do a full load.

As commented on the LG video

If they combined the wash action of the Hotpoint with the build quality and rinsing and spinning of the LG there would be quite a decent machine.

The Hotpoint in question is the other top loader that Eugene from Lorain furniture has on his channel that he tested along with the LG.

samsung agitator

I'd love to see a samsung agitator washer do a full load of towels or jeans or even regular clothes with softener.

Samsung TL with Agitator

Here's what I found. Looks decent for a small load, however, a large would really show the machine's capability to clean.
