Hi Appnut Thanks for the info. I did some investigations on the Eletrolux full height freezer and it's made between 58 and 65, this nails it down further. Do you have the name if I want to buy the owners manual? Cheers Jorm |

Hi Jorm, Neat that you found one of these early GE DWs, it must have had almost no usage, you are correct the plastic coated steel tank rusted very easily on these DWs, if the machine was run once a day they seldom lasted much over 10 years and never over 20.
In the US these were poor performers even in this early period of DW development, GE never built a really good performing DW till the early 80s.
But in any event this DW sounds like a fun project, let us know how it works out.
