Will be picking these up this week, as they looked too unique to pass up. I'm definitely more a KM guy, and traditionally lean toward the BD era but these called to me.

Anyone have any thoughts or input? Supposedly everything works on both, so I'm hoping to just give them a good cleaning and put them to work.

It's a seldom-seen WP model.  I have the service manual Washers and Dryers with Fifth Generation Solid State Electronic Control Systems.  There was a KA sibling.

"These controls were introduced on Whirlpool washer model LSE9355BZ0 and dryer model LE/GE9848BZ0 and KitchenAid washer model KAWE977BWH0 and dryer model KE/GYW977BWH0."

B is 1994 model-year.

Congratulations! It would call to me, too.

Lurvly, but they couldn't put a light on the control panel?

The dryer hails from the early eighties. I didn’t know the washer existed either. Congrats on a great find!

Wow! I never knew that washer existed. Very cool machine and definitely TOL. That dryer is a solidly built TOL workhorse as well. Nice find!

I’ve seen the matching early 80s washer

But sadly never seen it operate. My aunt had the set in a hallway closet with accordion doors, which she kept closed while she washed. I would hear it beep when finished but I just couldn’t run and open the doors in front of everybody (as a child) I would have gotten looks, as this aunt had rules
