calling kenmore experts this question was posted on fb by one of my cousin unknown if replacement model if she buys new machine if she wents a front load or a topload but here the problem my cousin have with her kenmore washer. My Kenmore brand washer is about 15 years old ... or maybe even older (base top load model, with center leg in tub) and suddenly decided yesterday to stop running at the middle of a cycle. 🤦‍♀️😔😒 It fills up and is now the ONLY function it does. There is no and there has been no roaring noise of an engine or anything ... no suspicious smell either ... nothing works when I turn the dial no matter what what position I place it.
1) According to you or based on your similar experiences, what could be the cause?
2) Do you know or know someone who knows about it and who could estimate how much it would cost me to repair or have the said trouble repaired without my having to sacrifice an arm and a leg $$$?
3) Assuming I need to buy a new washer, what are your top picks or worst options to consider (best value for money)?
4) Still in the event of having to make a purchase, is it better to change the dryer at the same time even if it is still running (was purchased at the same time as the washer)?
Thank youiiiiii😁 🧦🩳👚👖👗🧥
