Discontinued part for a discontinued dishwasher. Would hate to see this perfectly good 18” dishwasher end up in a landfill just because seemingly none of the parts distributors have this latch available.

I’d gladly pay a premium for a new or used part!

The part number I find for a latch assembly is WD13X10003. There are plenty of these available but I’m not sure if it is correct.

That exact model number does not come up.

Model GSM1800J00WW shows a different assembly. Is yours the slide latch or the pull latch? Pictures may be helpful.

Possible door latch part numbers

I see part # WD13X10030 for a door latch (black in color) and WD13X10028 for a latch (white in color) online that may be for your dishwasher, but it appears that no online vendors have any (at least the several that I looked at) and the latch seems to be a common failure point based on Internet comments.

If that turns out to be the correct latch, your best bet might be to call local appliance stores that sell and service GE appliances (if you haven't already) as they may still have one.

Online listing for reference:

Good luck with your search.

Yes that is a good part number. I must have added too many zeros when I checked the first time.
