I paid a little visit up to a museum in Idaho today, there were some VERY old washers and boxes of detergent I took some photos of. Thought that I'd share them on here.

Thank you for sharing. Can you tell us more about the machine in picture #2? The design resembles a friend's 1910 Cataract which rocked back and forth causing the fabrics to slide over the ribbed base of the tub. |

Thank you. It is amazing how many producers of other products found a way to turn them into newer products that were coming into demand sort of like Johnny Studebaker going from making covered wagons to automobiles. |
