I have given up on the 89 Maytag dishwasher in the house in St-Liboire. It lasted a very long time and extended its life with a few repairs since we've been in the house but alas, it is worn out to the point where it just wasn't cleaning adequately anymore. The 55 D&M/Kenmore impeller machine does better!! (Edit - my apologies for the bad picture orientation!)

I have removed a bunch of still-good components such as the timer, wiring harness, relay, door switch and pushbutton switch. I can still salvage the dry cycle heater and blower assembly. I have not touched the inner door liner but if anyone just needs the gasket, let me know. Here's the catch - parts are free but I would ask for shipping from Canada since I do not anticipate being able to get to the post office in Vermont anytime soon. If, and this is a big if, anyone might need the racks please let me know by Wednesday. I really don't have room to store them and the rest of the dishwasher will be in the large items pickup on Thursday. |
