hello to all aw members,

i am starting to question myself if my mom truly knows that there no control on cycle time with newer washers,

like 1 take for exemple quick wash wash time 44 minutes and my mom think that using longer cycles like heavy duty can break the washer because of longer wash time on that i clearly have my doubts i will respect my mom and use quick wash but i just wish i could make her realise that no matter the chosen cycle there no control over the wash rinse time since its all control by a sonsor computer in the washer even if the clothes are normal soil level or light soil and i can no make my mom realise even if wash rinse temp selected is cold water or cool there will always have hot water going in the machine to regulate the tempature pic is the curent daily driver its like she thinks today washing machines are like older washers before all the fancy electronic controling wash rinse temp no matter the selected choice i apoligise for my small rant here

The machine doesn't have a button for Soil Level that changes the wash / cycle time a few mins up/down on each step across the range of choices?

no it do not i have to turn off fabric softener option and i use liquid fabric softner and extra rinse plus on quick wash the risk is it do a simple spray rinse no actual rinse if i turn off the extra rinse option plus i would have to set the soil level to light or extra light to lower wash time and my sligh fear is that it might effect the wash performance hats why i set soil level to normal its like medium soil and clothes are not that dirty but for stain i doubt just spray and wash will do since i have extra power option to treat stains i relly miss the day of vintage machines like in the pics that where simpler and where you could control wash time

normal cycle

Try the normal cycle with fabric softener for better performance. I don't care about time. I care about results.
