I hope someone can help with this.
1973(?) Sears Kenmore Classic Continuous Cleaning double stack oven with pull out range top.
Pictures are below.
Model # 103.9767321
I got my "new" stove home, she's all hooked up, works great. I cannot find another like it anywhere and am hoping someone else here has one and has a manual or catalogue of it with any description. A Tech talk or breakaway diagram would be even better.
I need to replace or adjust the hinges in the lower oven door and am not sure how to remove it. The clock also doesn't work and I'd like to remove it to clean it and get it going as well.
I am hoping someone has a source for parts,I am in need of a couple extra racks (I bake A LOT)
and new knobs as the print is worn off of the most used ones.
And does anyone use some kind of liner in the bottom of the ovens for drips and spills? I know it's continuous cleaning, but I'd rather keep it as clean as possible.
And if anyone has a source for copper tone touch up paint, you could be my hero!
Thanks for any and all help or info!

Roper Built Kenmore Electric Range

The bottoms of the ovens should be lined with HD aluminum foil to catch heavy spill overs etc. You probably know NOT to use regular oven cleaner in this CC oven, If you want to clean it up a little just use a very wet cloth or spray hot water on it and blot up the water and soil.

You will probably have to find another range to get extra racks, but these Roper ovens do not bake that evenly if heavily loaded so I can't imagine using more than 2 racks at once anyway.

We may have extra knobs if you want to come in and match them up.

Good luck with your cool older oven, if this one does not work out some day look for a GE or Hotpoint next time if you want something that really cooks well.

The clock most likely needs a Telechron type S rotor. They are fairly common and easy to replace. As for paint, take something with the color off and take it to a good paint store. They should be able to match it.

Thanks for info @ combo52. I do know not to use oven cleaner on this, I had a continuous cleaning oven years ago, just wasn't sure if I could use foil in the bottom or those foil spill catchers we used to use.

I haven't found this one to be uneven in baking so far. It actually is the first oven I've had that is the actual temperature inside that its set for on the dial. I haven't had to make any adjustments to temp or time so far.

I had to choose this one as I only have a 30" space for a double oven and cook top. There is just no other way to configure my kitchen to make a side by side double work. (thanksgiving dinner and any family get togethers are a minimum of 35+ so I NEED a double oven) I like the pullout range top and since I have back issues the top oven is a bonus. I originally had wanted a Flair or similar, but couldn't make it fit no matter what i tried.

I would love to come look for knobs, but you're a little too far out of my road trip range, lol

Any idea on how to get the lower oven door off so i can adjust and clean up the hinges? They are a little off and the door is slightly crooked and they do have a bit of a grinding noise when you open and close them.

Clock

@ Oliger
Thanks for that, I can probably do the clock, but I am unsure about taking it out. I see the chrome trim around it and see there is a screw in the top center and bottom center of the trim. I am assuming that i can just unscrew them i can gain access to the clock.
I have read about a few other folks who have done this on similar stoves and the dial controls wouldn't work while the clock wasn't in place. Any truth to this? i need the stove to work, even if the clock is being repaired and not in place.
Thanks for any info

Lower Oven Door is a lift off design, BUT if the hinges are having issues it might not come off properly, Door hinges were another weak area for Roper built ranges.

When I suggested a GE or HP I of course meant a Hi-Low range with two ovens, GE built lots of them and parts are more readily available for them.

Baking in the lower oven is a real treat when you have the cooktop extended like if you were cooking a large meal. The design was too cute by half and no top heat during bake in either oven really limits capacity to say nothing of uniformity of cooking results.

Well, it may not be the best on the market, but it will have to do for now, lol.
Say those are some sweet WD sets, would that turquoise set be up for sale? I've been looking for a better vintage set than the junk that was here when i moved in. its less than 2 years old and they both are not working properly, ugh.

@ Tomturbomatic
Actually, I've used alllll the things at once and have had no problems. Maybe working in restaurants for many years makes you able to efficiently move round tight spaces, lol.
I've had both ovens and full cook-top going and haven't really noticed much of a problem getting stuff in or out or on the top. It is a little quirky to remember to pull out the cook top or push it in to put away, but every stove has its quirks and if you cook a lot I guess you get used to it.
Overall I;m happy with it, just wish I could get the schematics or a parts list for it, that would at least let me maintain it properly.

I'm glad you are happy with it.
