i recently dug out my portable maytag hwc400 dishwasher in harvest gold and started using it on a regular basis. it does a great job!
does anyone here know the part number of the pump seal for this dishwasher. i tried looking it up all over the web but no luck. guess it's too old. i'm assuming it's from the mid 70's. it's not leaking yet but like any dishwasher i get i try to find out if there are any pump seals available for it as this is the most crucial part in my book. thanks for lookin and hopefully someone here will know. combo 52 maybe? thanks again pete |

so i guess it's an early 70's model. can't even remember where i got it but i do know it uses a ton of water and has the longest cycle increments i have ever seen, i timed them at about 2 1/2 minutes per cycle click.
i copied the parts diagram posted here and also was surprised to read that it uses same seal as a kitchenaid. i have a bunch of these. will probably post a couple pics here tonite but for now, thanks again to you both. i also have picked up 2 more machines lately i will do a post on soon, a spintube and a pull out drawer bowtie g.e. |

the more i use this machine the more i like it. it's built like a truck!
here's a couple pics of it. i tried to give it away several times, no one wanted it. now i'm glad i kept it. |
