As I mentioned some years ago, during the rebuild of our house we added thermal solar panels to the house. It's a great system that cutted the energy bills quite a bit. During the renovation, I pulled a hot water line to the laundry room (not common practise at all here). Up till now I added manually hot water to my washer (miele W963).
Unfortuanatly the control board stopped working few weeks ago. I grasped the occasion to swap it for the control board of a miele W979 allwater (hotfill type of the w9xx series). The type n° of the boards were identical (EDPW206) and I got the relais board with it. Miele used in its w9xx series fairly identical controlboards. Everything seems to work fine with the new boards untill It wanted to build in something new...
The hot water valve...
Alle connections done and service programmed it in (used the real usersmanual) it did nothing. At the start, the program sequence should give a signal to the corresponding relais... but I measure nothing... After 30s the machine opens the cold watervalve to continue the washprogram as it is intended.
I searched in German / English for a real service manual... but i can not find it... With the controlboard there should have been a programmingscheme... I didn't recieve that either...
So Im turning to u guys... Is there anyone... German, Belgian, American, Polish, Ukrainian, Canadian, Brazillian... who can point me in a way to the servicemanual of the miele w9xx series and/or the corresponding manual for the miele EDPW 206 controlboard to check if all things are correctly set.
Linked in the wiring diagram, the hotwatervalve is y12 and the signal starts at the board at pin 19.
