Looks pretty good and it runs as it should according to the seller. I may acquire this in the next couple of days. Very clean looking for the age. No special color and although I wish it had a washer with it, it’s still at least the first half of a decent set. Love to know some more info on this model.

LVE5700W0 = 1970 model year

M940 = 40th week of 1969 production

Standard capacity unit.  High temp probably 155°F.  Medium temp maybe 135°F.  Thermostatic auto-dry.  Speed selector on Gentle reduces the airflow rate and probably the element wattage, does *not* change the tumble speed.

1970 Model WP Electric Dryer

These are good performers and well built, easy to repair etc.

If you want to put this into every day use I would add some safety thermostats like newer WP and other dryers use because nearly all older dryers can be a fire hazard.

If you had the matching washer and this dryer had the window on it, it would be a close relative to my ‘63 Whirlpool Mark XII set even though it’s 6 years newer.
