Hey,

Just watched that video on youtube and, guess what... ?

Inside that huge abandoned college in Sctoland there is
an abandoned washing machine (un-identified) among the
many things left behind, most probably for years or
even for decades !

You may spot that machine on the vid at exactly
33' min. 9'' sec.

Please see link below:

is a mid - late 1970s Colston Coronet, a successor to the Rolls machine you got a while back

Dear Alistair (vacbear58)

thank you for identifying the brand and model of that washer. You seem to have quite a pretty good knowledge of those, since the guys who made the vid didn't even show us the money shots regarding the poor lonesome machine ! lol

(i share an image of such model with credits to Matchboxpaul)

Indeed, concerning my own find, Rolls Concorde, i am right now in the process of cleaning and repairing the unit, trying to "rejuvenate" it correctly, as much as i can. A process, which also includes belts replacement, some re-painting, etc... And, ultimately, finding an original control knob (missing): Good luck !

Meanwhile, i put a small dimmer (plastic) knob which just does the job and is aesthetically more pleasant to the eye than a metal rod. A very small piece from a toothpick and a little BluTak makes it fit solidly, without the use of glue.
Anyway, very glad i found that machine. And, for next to nothing regarding cost.
